Duff’s Church is committed to missions
Duff’s Church is committed to missions and justice issues here in Canada and throughout the world. In 2002 a mission group spent two weeks in Guatemala and in 2004 another group went to Nicaragua. In both situations we were confronted with the everyday issues that face real people in real places. We discovered that much more than half of the world lives on less than $2 a day. There are far too many people in the world who struggle with issues of poverty, malnutrition, inadequate housing, lack of effective health care, and unemployment. We know the issues are large and we can’t change the world by ourselves, but we believe we can do our part, that we are called to action, and that if everyone did their part, the world would indeed change.
