From the Board of Managers:

As of December 2019 our mobility lift will no longer be able to be maintained and will require replacement. We want to keep our Church accessible for everyone who comes here.  The Board would appreciate any donation amount to help aid this project. Donations of $5,000.00 and over will be recognized on a plaque to be placed in the Church. For more information or for making contributions please contact Neil McCaig 519-822-0386.  Duff’s Choir Practice – Every Thursday, @ 7pm.  More Singers are Welcome.

Monday Evenings @ 7:30 pm Puslinch Fitness – Join us for an hour of exercise with a certified instructor, first class free, $5/class after initial class.  Bring your stability ball and try cardio drumming.

Watch for the red clothesline.  Your donations of men’s socks and underwear and cold weather items will be given to the Welcome Inn and Wyndham House.

A donation of $250 is being given to Food 4 Kids Guelph to help close the weekend gap for hungry children.

Watch for details concerning Christmas toys and gifts for the family we are adopting.

Advent Study – ‘Embracing the Light’

As we prepare, once again, for the coming of Emmanuel, how do we keep familiar scripture fresh? How do we approach it if we’re not familiar with it? Please sign up in Nanson Hall for the times offered, ranking your preference. We’ll begin during the week of November 25th.


Christmas Plates: In the past week 13 goodie bags were delivered to post-secondary students and 30 plates to those needing some cheer and a visit. Thanks to all for the donations and all those who participated in this long term tradition at Duff’s

A tree of Remembrance for Hospice Wellington will be in Nanson Hall through December. If you have any questions please see Karen Harding our Parish Nurse.

  Shoebox project of Guelph/Wellington

Interested in something to donate to this Christmas season?  Consider the Shoe box project, a gift wrap box given to women experiencing homelessness in our area.  Fill a box with $50 worth of gifts including: socks, mitts, scarf, hand warmers, nut free candy, tea, instant coffee or hot chocolate or cup-o-soup, body/hand lotion, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, comb, shampoo, nail polish, lipstick, lip-balm, purse size tissue, gift cards for groceries, coffee shops, book shops, bus tickets, journal, puzzle book, coloring book, pencils and pens,
DO NOT INCLUDE: products containing alcohol, razors, free samples or hotel size products, feminine hygiene products, clothing that’s sized, heavily scented items, candles, anything that expires in 6 months.
Your box or bag of items can be left at the church (Jane & Karen) will take them to drop off locations or you can drop them off yourself at these locations during their business hours before
